Occupying the 2st floor of the Negishi Building in Shimo-Igusa, Tachimachi is an inviting neighborhood stop for freshly fried skewers and savory griddle specialties. The kushiage selection covers staples such as pork, onion, quail eggs, and lotus root starting from 140 yen for 1 skewer, with convenient 5-skewer and 10-skewer omakase assortments available when it is tough to choose. Ingredients like chicken tenderloin with shiso, shrimp, and asparagus offer plenty of variety to suit personal tastes.

A centerpiece of the menu is Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, offered in the standard recipe as well as specialized variations tailored to your craving—including the "Cheese Hiroshima" with fragrant shiso, the scallion-loaded "Negi Hiroshima," and the "Tachimachi Special" topped with grated yam, scallions, and a fried egg. The teppan offerings extend further to tonpeiyaki with optional cheese or shiso additions, rolled dashi omelets, and beef offal paired with house-made spicy miso or garlic soy sauce.
